In future, what other heroes might you decide upon for new designs? Off the top of my head, I could see Boudicca, Gilgamesh, Perseus, the White Buffalo Woman, Zhong Kui, Parvati/Durga or Nancy Wake as future candidates...(all of them, I think, are important figures that kids should know about.)
Everything is up for grabs! When you really get into it, it makes your head spin. The trick for us when we captured a few relatively unknown characters to demonstrate the potential, we were tempted to just go completely over the top with all the animal headed gods and India is especially rich in this area.
We want to stay somewhat grounded in heroes at first. I think kids have the most to glean from their interactions with them. You’ve really hit upon some good options for the ever-growing list.
